How come there are no mythical heroes for Thanksgiving?

Wouldn't YOU want this dude to magically give you a Thanksgiving turkey on Thanksgiving?

If you don't feel very thankful he will shoot you with his turkey gun and magically make you feel thankful...or turn you into a turkey. I can't remember which one.
